What we're all about!
Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes are designed to teach the essential concepts and fundamental skills that students will need to secure gainful and meaningful employment. CTE prepares students for more than just a job--CTE prepares students for a career! Career Pathways are rigorous programs of study that provide the high-demand skills needed to progress in one’s career field. Students taking CTE classes have the opportunity to participate in the various student leadership organizations including:
FBLA--Future Business Leaders of America: Preparing students to assume their roles as future leaders in business and management.
FCCLA--Family, Career and Community Leaders of America: Promoting personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer science education.
FFA--Future Famers of America: Dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Skills USA--A partnership of students, teachers, and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled work force: Preparing for Leadership in the world of work.
